increase my Wi-Fi signal to the garage
Hi I have a ORBI mesh system RBS350 with 2 satellites but I am still struggling sometimes with my signal strength in my detached garage where I have a golf simulator set up which is approximately 15/...
Hi thanks for your reply I do get a fairly decent signal 80% of the time it’s just now and again maybe 3/4 times a week it drops which causes my golf sim to crash.
I have just moved one of the two satellites into the garage which now has line of sight with the other satellite which is in the same room as the router which might help if what I’m researching is correct?

There is no benefit to having a satellite "in the same room" as the router, unless this room is very large and the router is 10 meters away from the satellite.
Line of sight to the router itself would be enough.
I have moved the two satellites now so one is in another room closest to the garage and away from the router room and the other is in the garage.
when I check Network map the one satellite that is in the house is green and the one in the garage is showing yellow on the map so hopefully this will work?
