iOS Updates
Unable to update any Apple product. Apple TV iPhone or iPad will not update to their respective iOS. Keep getting “error downloading” message. I assume it’s some sort of fire wall issue as I can walk ...

The user manual for this modem suggests it has NAT already built in. This can cuase problems if you install another router which also has NAT built in. Thu giving problems your seeing in this kind of configuration.

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly. Ask them about disabling NAT on the modem:https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1419237/Huawei-Ea380-123.html?page=45#manual
2. If you can't bridge the modem or disable NAT, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.

- Thx for the help. Option 1 and 3 didn’t seem to fix it. When we disabled the NAT, i couldn’t get in the internet, unless I did something wrong? 3 didn’t work. I don’t know what IP address to use for 2?
- I just can’t imagine there not being a way to get an iOS update
