IP address changed
When I use an IP address finder like IP Chicken it show's my ip address and location is different than what my router and laptop show as my ip address. I found this out after trying to sign up for H...
My router is an Orbi. Another example is when I was just trying to secure discount tickets via my AAA membership online. Their website asked permission to use my locaiton and sure enough I took me to Kentucky again and showed all the local businesses in Kentucky area and I am in Columbus, Ohio. How do I fix what my location IP address is showing as my geographic location? This also was an issue signing up with Hulu recently. I appreciate any assistance.
What model Orbi do you have?
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

Orbi RBR20 and firmware is updated V2.7.3.22. My modem is my personal equipment and is a Netgear CM500
Sorry, it's completely irrelevant. Explained above.. The only devices with reasonable location services are mobiles and some tablets. These are the only devices able to update the location device databases.
