Yes, your reaching good speeds on wifi and there maxing out. For those devices. I to have a mac book pro with USB C and had to get a LAN to USB C adapter. Mine sees near 900Mpbs on wired for sure.
I would avoid using the speed test app on the RBR. Use Ooklas installable speed test app. Found in the apple store or on there web site for windows.
Probably not. If your getting near 900Mpbs when you can test a wired connection, and your already getting near 400-500Mbps on Wifi, then the Orbi is working as expected...

Hi - I recently setup my AT&T fiber BGW210-700 with the Orbi and almost every forum thread I read had the passthrough mode as DHCPS-fixed instead of dynamic. After you select fixed, you choose your RBR50 under the Device List. Not sure if that makes a difference, but just wanted to point that out.

Direct Connect Test Result Using USB-C and Mac Book Pro 2019.
ATT Arris Modem:
UP: 600
DOWN: 920
Orbi Router:
UP:690
DOWN: 850
Wireless connection are consitently kept at around 400.
All this is without changing any setting. This is my is my original setting.

Looks like Orbi is working as exptected then. Your in the ball park for sure.
