iPadOS devices sometimes looses connection with RBR50
Having a strange issue at home and don't know if it's related to my iPad or my RBR50. I own an iPad 8, my wife a 7 and daughter an old Air 2. All three iPads are always at home, connected to ...

I indeed switched on the data counter on the RBR. I wasn't aware about the issue around it and it gave me a crazy problem.
I think this topic can be closed. I bought a new iPad Air 2022 and for the time being, this device doesn't gives problems.
In the future I think the old iPad will be used as a central homekit control panel and will be continuously on the charger.
In the mean time, Apple released iPadOS16.4.1. I read somewhere on reddit this could solve some connection issues. Further experiments are necessary.

This sticks out:
"Till last December I never had issues (except last Summer when I switched on the data counter. No internet anymore, but I found here this was a bug in the system)." What do you mean by switched on the data counter? Are you referring to Traffic Meter on the RBR or something on your pad?

Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

Thanks for the many clues in this question, but in fact it isn't really solved.
I've never found out why this specific iPad gives problems with Netgear systems.
It's one of those cases we have to say: this is software... not possible to solve this.

Plausible faulty problem with the one pad I would presume.
