iphone and all ios devices are not backup since I got Orbi Router

Hi, I got new Orbi RBR50 router & one speaker satellite 3/26. Since then, all my iphone & ipads are not backing up. They all automatically backup to icloud before. I tried 'Maunal back up', Turn on...

Are you using the same SSID name and PW on the Orbi system from the prior wifi router? 

-> No, I changed. I took default name - ORBI39 & make new passowrd.

 

What Firmware version is currently loaded?

-> Router Firmware Version V2.5.1.8


What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

->Optimum is my internet provider. Modem is Arris TM1602A .

Try the prior SSID Name and PW? I would recommend not using the default SSID name. Thats mostly to get the system setup initially and users are encouraged to set a different SSID name.

    I changed SSID Name and PW to my old one to try just now. But it is still not working. 

    It says 'the last backup could not be completed becasue of poor network conditions'. :(

    Any suggestion?

      What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
      What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router

       

      What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
      Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

       

      Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or maynot be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

      Try disabling the following and see:
      Armor, Circle, Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Set Short preamble instead of Long preamble modes. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).

        Hi Furrye38,

        I changed all the router set up as you recommended, but still not backup.

        I contacted Apple too. They went through all things... They do not know.., and basical told me that they do not know what they can do - since my backup is working in different network (different router), but only not working at Home with Orbi.

         

        Do you think - maybe I got 'Lemon'? Just bad luck? 

        I really like Orbi... Should I returne it get different one?
