iPhone and iPad do not show up in device manager

Please advise how to get both iphone and iPad to show up in Device Manager. And does it matter if they aren’t listed? My iMac is listed, but the other devices aren’t. Worst part was they were, un...

Don’t understand private IP address on iphone.

Before I rebooted, all the devices did show up.
