Ipv6 icmp filtering FIX
How to un-filter ICMP:
1. Setup-->WAN Setup--> Enable "Respond to Ping on Internet Port"
2. Advanced Setup-->IPv6--> Set "IPv6 Filtering" to Open
3. Access debug menu at 192.168.1.1/debug.htm --> Enable "Allow external IPv6 hosts ping internal IPv6 hosts"
ICMP should now be "reachable". Check at --> https://ipv6-test.com/
Edit:
Also add icmp to your windows firewall, i'll add a link to a guide below:

Good information for someone who WANTS internet trolls to hammer away at their Orbi. "Hey, it responds to Ping. Wonder what else is open?" Would be interesting to hear what specific need this fulfills.

You're right, i thought you had to have it enabled to get icmp to not be filtered. Tried deactivating it, turns out icmp works fine without it.
Yes, in the default condition, any device inside the Orbi can ping (ICMP) IP addresses outside the Orbi. But, no device outside the Orbi can ping the Orbi itself or anything inside it.
