Is it possible to use an RBS20 with an RBR 50?

I cannot get my RBS20 to connect with my RBR50.  I've already got an RBS50 working well, but the RBS20 repeatedly fails to sync.  I've even tried putting the RBS20 and the RBR50 right next to each other.

Any suggestions?  Could it be the RBS20 FW version?

    PS, i've looked everywhere in the Community and cannot find anything specific about troubleshooting this combination.  Connecting to the internet (from the RBR50) is NOT an issue.

      Sometimes, it is necessary to be overly methodical.  i.e. use a paperclip to "factory reset" the new RBS20 satellite.  After it comes up, go through the sync process, pressing the sync buttons within two minutes or following the instructions on the web interface on the Basic Tab->Add Orbi Satellite.  Once connected, the firmware version can be checked and updated if necessary.
