Use a web browser and PC or laptop and long into the RBRs web page to do any FW updates. Orbi app isn't recommended currently to update FW.

Everything that I have read in this forum and in the manual, say when updating the firmware to always update the satellites first and then the router. No idea why I have to do this. I have therefore always done this manually in the past to be safe. When the 2.7.2.102 firmware came out, I clicked the update button in the app. It updated everything correctly.
So my question is, when you click update in the Orbi app, does the app know to update the satellites first and then the router? While looking at the lights cycling on the Orbis, it looked like everything updated at the same time.

Any idea if the updates happen in the sequence "RBS first then RBR" when using the "Update All" button in the web interface?

The few times I've used the Update All button, I've seen the RBS being sent the FW first then the RBR starts processing soon after.
