Issues after firmware update to 2.5.1.16
I am having a lot of issues after updating the firmware to 2.5.1.16
Lucky me, my support expired 1 week ago on July 24th.
After the firmware update, my satellites are not showing up on my App. (see App no Satellites)
When I click on the Network map, it shows one of my satellite in red (see App one satellite red)
When I click on devices, it shows my other satellite as a device (seee App satellite as device)
Furthermore, when I log onto the router using the IP address, I shows one satellite with a generic UNIX icon and the other satellite as a device (see router satellite as device)
Lastly, I am not able to update the firmware for the one satellite that is showing up via IP connect to the router (router firmware update)
Any help or suggestion would be appreciated. I have already try to re-sync the satellite that is not showing up.
Thanks, Mike
PS, sorry, I am new and not sure how to insert a picture but all 5 files has been consolidated and attached as a jpeg
Glad it's working now. Please mark your thread post as solved so others will know.
Enjoy. đ

Maybe this is a good time to download the previous firmware and install it manually?
- AwesomeQAApprenticeThe most stable Firmware is
V2.3.5.30.
It doesnât Max out CPU and the performance is stable.V16 is a stable version of FW as well. Doesn't max out my RBK50s CPU usage. Working fine here.
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?
Press the back reset button for 15 seconds then release.Use a PC or laptop and wire connect to the RBR to walk thru the setup wizard with a web browser.
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Is the Orbi system operating in Router or AP mode? What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-routerTry enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or may not be needed) and WMM. I agree that V16 is a stable version as well. It doesn't max out my CPU usage either. My system has over 20 devices connected and no problems whatsoever.
Did you reboot your system? That sometimes fixes satellites disappearing. If that doesn't work, reset the Satellites and reconfigure them.

Thanks for all the suggestions. After struggling with it for 2 days, I was finally able to resolve the issue. It took a reset of the router and satellites, along with updating the APP, but everything seems to be working fine.
