It's January 2018 with and still having issues with Orbi Satellite disconnecting on latest firmware
From searching this forum it seems this issue has been plaguing these devices for months. I have an RBR50 router and an RBS30 satellite and the satellite disconnects frequently throuhgout the day and very quickly reconnects. I can tell from the light pattern which goes orange for a few seconds and then goes blue. If you are doing something that requires constant streaming like video conferencing and gaming, it drops the entire connection. Both devices are on V2.1.1.16. I also have a wall satellite that seems to be ok but do nto use that as much. On another thread somebody recommending disabling the Daisy-Chain topology but that did not help. Do we know if Netgear is still tweaking the firmware to resolve this or are there any other settings that might help?

Update: The disconnect happens every 30 minutes like clockwork. Not exactly at the top and bottom of the hour but at around :26 after and :56 after. The satellite disconnects but immediately reconnects within a few seconds (orange then blue light). I have tried resetting the entire setup already and same issue. there was a newer firmware for both routher and satellte I just updated to yesterday but that made no difference either.

Have you tried to factory reset the satellite and resync it with the router?

Hi, I had posted this on another thread to change the subject line but in short I discovered there are several pieces of equipment that are interfering with the satellites. The first is a setup we have for Nielsen ratings and the other one is a just a more common computer wireless headset from Plantronics. I have tested exetnsively with both off and on and the problem follows either of those items being on. I still believe this problem surfaced with a recent firmware update on the satellite as I have had those other devices for months and this issue is more recently happening.
