I agree with FURRYe38 that people who watch the Armor forum are more likely to have experienced something similar to this and have suggestions. If your iPhone is anything like the iPhones of people I know, nearly everything is "in the cloud" and will be restored after a factory reset. I know someone who drowned her iPhone (it was a funny story, except for the consequences), went to the Apple Store, bought a new iPhone, and they restored everything to the new phone.
You might also Google for iPhone and the name of this supposed infection and see if "Apple People" have recommendations on what to do.
