laptop connecting to 2.4G but not 5

I have a Dell laptop.  How do I force it to use 5. nstead of 2.4?  It's comptabile and other devices, such as my Android phone, automatically do this.    2.4 and 5 SSID's are already turned off.

    are you going to leave the the 2.4 radio@ 25%,...??

      Once the laoptop connected with the 5 radio, I re-upted the power of the 2.4 back to 100%

        well good luck with that for if the laptop adapter is fully capable of both 2.4 and 5 and with the Orbi MESH system running the show, well you get the idea
