Latency
My orbi setup has high latency making online gaming almost impossible. How do I lower latency? My computer shows my latency averaging 158ms.

Sounds like you are good. All on the same firmware. Great.

Also I know it's not an issue with my xbox as I've power cycled it. All the ports xbox requires are setup. UPnP is on. Even soft reset the xbox. The xbox also receives 100% signal. My download and upload speeds far exceed what xbox live requires. And it's multiple games not being able to be played because of the Latency. Also xbox live services are up and running. This is so frustrating. Shouldn't only a very old router or a router with very old firmware have latency high enough to not play games.

Were you able to connect the X-Box directly to the modem temporarily as a test?
I know this is going to sound crazy, but I purchased a LONG ethernet cable that reaches from my modem to the farthest room in my house. I wait until the family is out of the house, and then string the cable wherever I want to test something. That's how I verified ethernet backhaul works and tested latency on my setup comparing wired vs. WiFi backhaul. I mention this because it just occured to me that the X-Box requires a television set (duh!) Relocating an X-Box is trivia, but moving a TV set may not be possible!
