Lbr20 for home network?

Hello I'm looking the the orbi lbr20 as a replacement for my antiquated zte mf279. From the research I've done it appears that I can plug in my desktop/security camera system into the wan/lan port to connect them to my network as I don't have a wired internet connection available to my home, as well as it providing a wifi signal for the wireless devices in my home. Can anyone confirm that the lbr20 will work for my application?
