Lbr20 lte speed

I have the lbr20 connected to Three in the UK the connection speeds for mobile although are solid are less than half that of the hawaei router use to use. I'm not sure if it is connecting to 4g+ I .also not sure if it is using the attached external aerial can anyone point me in the right direction on checking these settings.
