Lenovo P50S laptop drops wifi/internet connection to Netgear Orbi RBR50
So, this has been going on for over 6 months and is getting worse. My wife has a Lenovo P50S laptop running Win 10 Pro that had been working for a long time. At some point in the past year it began to drop the wifi or internet connection randomly. This happened every so often, but now happens about every 3 minutes. I say wifi or internet because it seems that most of the time the wifi connection is still there, just can't get to anything on the internet. It does come back after a few seconds, but then drops again in about 3 mins.
I've made sure everything stays updated with the latest drivers for both the laptop and the Orbi. I hadn't changed any settings on either the laptop or the Orbi, just updated the drivers, BIOS, firmware, etc. I was thinking that maybe the wifi card in the laptop was going bad, so I replaced it with a new Intel AX200 card that seems to be working fine.
Here's where it really gets confusing - the laptop works great on any other network than our home network (airport, hotel, library, friends, etc). It also works great when connected to my cell phone using it as a hotspot. And everything else in the house works great on the home network. Just this laptop is having issues. Orbi is set to router, not AP. It's working through AT&T gateway setup in bridge mode (Orbi Ip is passed through). Orbi provides the DHCP for the home network. AT&T wifi is disabled.
Bottom line - this laptop will not work with our Orbi RBR50 router, but it works great with anything else. Anyone else experience this?
I've looked all over for a resolution, but haven't found this exact situation yet. Maybe I'll do a factory reset on the Orbi as everything used to work and see if it "fixes" the problem. Can't think of anything else at this point.

Something to contact the mfr of this laptop for additional help and information regarding there product. If other devcies are working and this one particular one isn't, would be some thing they can give support information.
Ensure the wifi adapter drivers are fully up to date for the mfr of the adapter. Might look into the advanced settings for the adapter and see about disabling any AX mode features. Contact the mfr of this adapter as well for support information.
