Limited download speed on Netgear Orbi AC3000 RBK50v2
Hi folks, I have a Netgear Orbi AC3000 RBK50v2 system with one router and one satellite which has been working fine with my TPG 100Mbps Internet plan. My wifi-connected PC routinely showed 100+Mbps ...

Seeing the difference between my phone and PC download performance
Are you running Ookla Speed Test directly on the phone using the Ookla 'app', or are you using the Orbi app feature, Internet Speed? The Orbi app is reporting the results of tests run on the router, not on the phone.

I just browsed to the Ookla website and ran it from there for both my PC and phone.

It might be helpful to understand the placement of the Google Pixel Pro and the PC in relationship to the Orbi WiFi. (how far?) Also, page 33 of the Intel documentation shows two antenna connectors. I get the impression that there are antennas built into the side panel of the case. WiFi antennas do not cope well with metal, so if they are on the "far side" of the computer from the Orbi router, that might affect WiFi performance.

You're rigtht about the NUC, though I'm stuck with its location. I am sitting at it when testing with my phone so they're pretty close together,
When I've got more time on the weekend I'll have a look to see if there's anything in Windows that might give wifi performance a boost, but my hourly ookla speed tests are showing it's consistently around 180Mbps, and my phone is consistently showing about 300Mbps so it's starting to look like wifi performance in general is not going to come near the wire speed of the router.
Anyway, thanks for your help. I'm satisfied the limitations are wifi and device related, At least I'm getting what I'm paying for with the Internet plan!
