Looking at Pre-Ordering
Is there a UK release date and pricing yet?
Has a decision been made regarding wired connectivity between router and satellite?

I would wait for a review from smallnetbuilder before buying blind, the blurb looks promisng but real world performance maybe very different, also this is Netgear and its going to be buggy on first release firmware too. I would hold tight myself or even wait for Orbi v2 considering netgears habit of dropping hardware when there are issues (R6300-R6300v2 R7500-R7500v2 etc...)

Orbi will be available in UK before the end of this year. Keep an eye on website for updates and pricing. Orbi is a wireless solution with a dedicated backhaul 5Ghz channel for connection between router and satellite, because of this, wired connection is not required.

I think the dedicated backhaul is great... all i was asking was 'is it possible?'
