looking to buy a very nice modem/route mesh system and need advice
I have cut the cable from Xfinity and stream all my TV etc. I have video cameras, multiple devices, wifi galore. I was struck by lightning and Comcast gave me a new modem which sucks and I want to go...
Stay away from Cable Modem/Router combos and go with a straight DOCSIS modem.
We use Arris and Netgear DOCSIS3.1 modems for installs.
My preferred choice is an ARRIS SB8200 or CM8200.
Netgear preference are a few, based on price. CM1200 and CM1100
