Losing connections after update

Simply upgrading to 1.12.0.8 did nothing to improve the problems. Printers offline randomly, devices connected to the satellite losing connectivity.

I have since performed a factory reset (painfully) and will test some more. I'm frustrated, and the family is not happy, so If this fails to resolve it, I will have to return the Orbi and go with another product.

One product note: The Satellites obtain an address via DHCP. Even though they are connected to the LAN via wireless backhaul, the Orbi is not their preferred DHCP source. When installing/resetting, If you have another DCHP server and a different subnet address than the default, it is quite likely that the Satellite will obtain an address from there causing it's connection to fail.  The same is true for your wireless devices. It's interesting that a device passing from Satellite to router to LAN would obtain a response from a lan based DHCP server faster than it obtains one from the router itself.

Regarding printers: I had that same issue with my Canon MX922: worked sporadically. I then re-ran the wifi setup on the printer, and as soon as I selected my SSID, it alerted me that there were multiple access points with the same SSID, and asked whether I wanted to just use a single AP or multiple. I chose multiple, and it's been working flawlessly since.

Not saying this is your issue. Just pointing it out just in case...
