Which software did you have when you didn't have issues?
I see the same issues with the current 2.2.1.210. I also had the same issues previously on 2.1.4.16.
I also saw that a roaming device usually triggers this issue, can be your daughters Chromebook roaming from one node to another.
To recover after getting this issue, it's enough to switch off the Satellite, wait until all devices connect to the Router and stabilize then switch back on the Satellite.

Can't Netgear Support -somehow- help to collect logs from the router when this issue happens to be able to solve this issue?
It's a frequent issue that should be possible to route cause and solve! It just needs commitment from Netgear to fix this product!
