Possible that the configuration could have changed on the ISP modem. Something you can ask the ISP about. When in bridge mode theres nothing to configure. IF the modem is still bridged, then the Orbi status page on the Advanced Tab under the internet section should report a ##.##.###.### IP address. If it reports a 192, 172 or a 10 something address, then the modem may have become unbridged.
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute them back ON.
Yes, i know XF supports user owned modems. NGs CM1000 or 1100 would be recommended.

Thank you.
I checked the advanced settings on the ORBI. Under Router, the IP address is 199.xxx.xxx. Under Internet port, the IP address is 10.x.x.x. Is it correct to assume that the XF modem/router is still in bridge mode based on the above?

No, the 10 IP address is a private IP address, not a public address. ##.##.###.### would be seen if the modem was bridged.
This is telling us the ISP Modem is not bridged.

After contacting Xfinity, I am quite certain that the Xfinity box is now in bridge mode. The IP address for the Internet port now reads 98.xx.xxx.xx. Fingers crossed that this was the issue causing dropped internet connection. What do you think? If this doesnt work, I might just buy a cable modem. Thanks

Ok, glads it's re-bridged.
If something happens, then check out a NG CM1000 or 1100 cable modem.
