Macbook not able to connect to RBR50
We've had an Orbi RBR50 with one satellite setup for 6+ months now and everything works great EXCEPT an old Macbook (circa 2006). It connects to the WiFi but after about 4 days it will disconnect and then refuse to connect until we reboot the Orbi. The Macbook sees the SSID and allows us to select it but then returns an error that the network cannot be joined. Restarting the Macbook doesn't help. Turning the WiFi off/on on the Macbook doesn't help. Reserving an IP addy on the Orbi for the Macbook doesn't help. The only thing that fixes it is to reboot the Orbi. Again, this is only a problem for this one device--all our other devices connect and stay connected with no problem. And it has only been a problem with this Macbook since we got the Orbi--was never a problem before that--and is not a problem with any other networks. So I can only surmise that it's a problem on the part of the Orbi. Anyone have any suggestions?

What Firmware is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or maynot be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Circle, Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?
If you are running out of things to try, give these settings a shot.
- Preamble Mode: Short Preamble
- Disable Fast RoamingAdvanced Wireless Settings both 2.4GHz and 5GHz changed CTS/RTS Threshold to 2307.

Change the CTR/RTS threshold values for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz (2341 and 2345 respectively), changed preamble modes to long preamble, and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only.
