mesh wifi questions
do i need to buy mesh wifi or can i plug internet into this router from the modem. and than mesh it with a r7900 x6 nighthawk setup in a different room or vice versa??? so what im asking is plug one router into modem via internet cable than just use power with another router to have them mesh link? or does it not work like that.

It doesn't work like that. Both are nice routers but they aren'tt mesh routers. you could set them with the same ssid (with one in access point mode) but devices wouldn't roam. They'd tend to be sticky and stay connected to one of them until the signal became unusable/dropped.
