My Orbi RBR10 seems to reboot at 10:59 EST every day. How do I stop that?

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

  • There is no know feature or issue that would cause your Orbi to reboot at the same time each day, so therefore it's difficult for us to tell you how to stop it.  Can you eliminate any environmental issues, e.g., how is the Orbi plugged in (i.e., is it plugged directly into the wall or through a power strip or switch)?

How can you tell that the RBR10 is power cycling, e.g., if you go to http://orbilogin.com/debug.htm do you see that System Uptime is resetting each day?  Do you have any Orbi satellites with your system and are they power-cycling too (you can visit http://IP_ADDRESS/debug.htm and see the satellite uptime, where IP_ADDRESS is the satellite's IP address from http://orbilogin.com ... Attached Devices)?
