NAS keeps disconnecting

i have a WD MyCloud EX2 Ultra and ever since switching to the Orbi system, my NAS keeps disconnecting... its wired directly to the RBR20. my previous D-Link setup was fine and i did not make any changes to the NAS settings. LAN IPs and range are identical. this really pains me as we run our Plex server from the desktop and, when we are away, we do not want to lose this connection - especially daily.

any idea what may be causing this? im on MacOS Catalina. thx.

    What Firmware is currently loaded?

What do you mean by disconnecting? Do you loose access to it's web page?

What is the Mfr and model# of the NAS?

Have you set up a IP address reservation for the NAS ON the router?

Is there an IP address reservation for the mac as well?

Is your Mac wired or wireless?

Does this happen with other PCs or Macs?

Something to try differently, set a new IP address pool size on the RBR. Say 192.168.1.100 thru .200.

Remove the IP address reservation for the NAS from the RBR.

Go in and set a Static IP address ON the NAS using it's web page, say 192.168.1.2. The static can be anything, just outside of the IP address Pool. Can't be with in it.
