If you're trying to go Modem-->linksys-->Orbi you're going to have problems if you're wanting the linksys to act as a switch and the orbi as the main device.
You could use that setup and place the orbi in AP mode and leave the linksys acting as the router. This would fix your ip conflicts because the linksys would handle that. And then just use the Orbi as wireless access and acting a satellites with ethernet options.
