Have you tried to go into the wireless adapter settings on the laptop and change the DNS server?

Thank you and yes, I had changed the DNS and even just tried that again. I have upgraded and re-installed all drivers and updates and it just work for the two specific websites. All others work. I even put a different wireless router hooked up by ethernet from the Orbil router and that wifi works fine for the two websites (same DNS). This is a hard one tto figure out.
What are the 2 websites that are behaving differently?
Are you running any security software like Norton or Mcafee? Try disabling them and see if that makes a difference.
The Windows wifi network connections will be different than your other testing wifi/ethernet networks so it could still be a Windows issue. Thank you for the suggestions. Yes, I do have Firewall and Virus protection and had tried turning them off when I did my testing. That did not help. Since the travel router (different wifi signal), ethernet cable, and usb wifi dongle (using my Orbi network) all work with no problms, I don't believe that the Firewall or Virus Protection are at fault. This morning, I took the laptop to my gym and connected to the free wifi network there and all worked.
I did try the public/private setting on my home wifi connections and it made no difference. Stumped still, but am trying various settings both on the wifi card and on the Orbi system.
I had a similar issue recently when replacing a router. I did not power cycle all my devices after changing the router. This resulted in my PC sending packets that were interpreted by a particular website as malformed. My WAN IP was thus banned. I changed my WAN IP (I have five) and I could access the site fine. After a week or two the ban expired and I could access the site again from the banned IP. Symptoms sound exactly like yours. Everything worked except for websites hosted by the one company that banned my IP.
