Yes you can use a ethernet connections from the RBR to the RBS. Ether use a CAT6 LAN cable directly between the RBR and RBS or you can use a external GB LAN switch:
Non managed, non green ethernet switches are recommended to use if you do use one.

Do I have to connect the RBR and RBS together using a CAT6? I can’t just straight up use a LAN cable from an Ethernet port on the RBS to a PC, console, or TV that I’m using. Do I have to do a Ethernet backhaul before doing that? Sorry if I’m not making sense.

No, if the RBS is wireleslly connected to the RBR, then you can connect a ethernet connected PC to the back of the RBS for internet access thru the RBS.
