Netgear Orbi RBR50 Satellite via ethernet backhaul - satellite loses connection

How is the RBS connected to the RBR? Directly to the back of the RBR or is there a LAN switch in between? 

FYI: For users ethernet connecting there RBS to the RBR while on v102 or v104, they may experience an short ARP storm for about a minute or two then it will stop and never appear again:

It's been working quite stable with no issues for several months, but recently I ugpraded both devices to the latest firmware (v.2.7.2.104). Since then I am seeing following the following issue:

 

• Satellite is connected to router via ethernet backhaul indicated by connection Wired in the Orbi app
• Computer 1 is connected to satellite via USB ethernet adapter, wifi is off 
• Computer 2 is connected to satellite via wifi
• When I disconnect computer 2 form the USB ethernet adapter, it causes the satellite to lose the backhaul connection and thus any device connected to the satellite will have no internet connection.

It seems hat powering off the satellite, powering it on again and waiting for 10 minutes or so brings it back to normal state. Note this only happens when the computer is unplugged from the ethernet connection.

The ethernet cable connected to both devices is on the first port (next to yellow port on the router, closes to sync button on the satellite).

Is this a known issue? Perhaps a bug in this firmware version?
