Is the Orbi connected behind the Linksysy router?
Is the Orbi in AP mode?

IS the wifi radios on the Linksys router disabled?
You might update FW to v102:

Yes, the LinkSys Wifi is disabled and works as just wired router.
As I am unable to upgrade the FW in the current device and the device keeps dropping the internet connection, I had to return this router back to store (as I have no help from Netgear in fixing this bug).
With the different mesh router, the setup is working fine now. Thanks for all of your help.

Perhaps switch this setup around or get rid of the linksys

Tried and fails the same way.
This has been working for the past 8 months. Unfortunately, I see that there is no easy way to get a support person from Netgear to locate the issue and fix it (I see that there is constant dump of thread stack dump in log files in the router). I may have to finally return back to the store and look for a good alternative MU-MIMO router ....
