Netgear Orbi Statellite Power Led remains Amber colored

Hi All,

One of my Orbi satellite (RBS20) power status led remains amber no matter what I do. I have tried turning it on it off, I have hit the sync button, and I have even tried to use the reset button, but nothing is working. On my other satellite when I cycle the power, the status led is amber for a second or two then turns green. The non-responsive satellite does not appear on my mesh network and its Ethernet port does not seem to be working either.


I would appreciate any advice as I am at a lost right now.

    Try swappig the power adapter with the RBR temporarily to see if this changes any. If not, the RBS maybe faulty and needs replacing.

    Did youy hold the reset button in long enough for a factory reset to take place? Sometimes these devices can be stubborn.

    Try pressing and holding in the reset button before turning on the satellite and keep it in until you see red or amber, then let go.
