Netgear Orbi weak connection although sitting beside router (Orbi RBK50)

Hello, I have the new Orbi, and live in a 2 floor house. The distance between me to both the router and satellite are roughly equal (3/4 meters). However, sometimes I very weak connection (2/3 bars) and sometimes I get strong. I am starting to think it could be because my laptop is alternating between both the router and satellite connection sometimes (router seems to be stronger since i'm on same level without any walls between us). But Orbi router and satellite have the same SSID and network connection (only 1), so i can not choose which to connect too. I found a hidden network , entered and SSID with the same name and password as Orbi and the connection so far seems to be strong and constant. I don't know if this is good or not but it is temporary solution. Can anyone help me please? Image Description: Router / Satellite name: HOME HOME2: When I named hidden network to same SSID and password to my router and satellite, and windows changed it to HOME2 Hidden network: These seem to be unlimited hidden networks everytime I give it same SSID and password. It would countinue to be HOME3, HOME4, HOME5, etc....

    What Firmware is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router

What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or maynot be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Circle, Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).

Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?
