HELP,
I have tried everything. I have a case open with netgear support, but I am pretty techie and the router is second hand. The NETGEAR RBS50Y is now registered to me, but it is out of warranty. I am 99% sure it has V2.3.5.22 current and No new firmware version available??
The person who had it before me had allready synced it, so I think that's why the syncing process (by button, App, or Computer) will not work. They had it in a bedroom closet and it had never been outside. Their setup was RBR50 X Four and the RBS50Y.
My setup, Unfortunately is daisy chained and I am the third router (RBR40) on the line, but it as well as it's two satellites are working perfectly.
I do not know what to do, but I thought you might be able to help me?
