netgear support

I have now had my router for a month and it has worked for a total of 13 days. I went through the steps of contacting netgear for support and after being disconnected several times they were able to tell me that my router was defective and it needed to be replaced. I have been waiting on a replacement for over two weeks now and support has been a joke. They have generously opened about 8 support tickets but have yet to do anything about it. I spoke with a woman yesterday (the first person that I could fully understand) and she assured me that she would call me today and let me know what the hang up was. As of now I have not recieved a call and I am expecting to hear nothing.

 

At this point all I want is my money back so that I can be done with this company. The problem is I bought my unit directly from Netgear and I cant even get someone to help me with replacing the unit I already bought. Can anyone help me as far as how to go about doing this?

    Geez.  What a disaster.  You can try sending a private message to one of the forum moderators. Click on this link to their account and explain the situation.  Blanca_O (Better not to post private information on the public forum.)
