Network name keeps changing in Orbi.

Question

I recently replaced my Apple Airport network with the Orbi AC2200 RBK30 working with Netgear N600 C3700 Cable modem. For the past 15 years the name of my network has been "$19.99 per minute" and never had a problem. Since I've been using the Orbi the network has stopped working a couple times. When I go into the orbi app the name of the network is changed to ".99 per minute". I have reset the Orbi system a couple time to reconfiqure the name but it always reverts back to .99 per minute.
Are Netgear products not compatible with special characters? Is there a fix for this? I have the latest firmware. Moving from an Apple system where this wasnt and issue.... is this a "PC" thing?
