It turns out the scanner portion of our copier needed a different IP address to be used with the Orbi system. The Tech from Copier Company didn't know this, we figured it out with your input, the manual and a smart young IT person. Thanks for your help!

would help to have a link to that post from 2018.
also, brand and model of copier/scanner
Almost certainly not a "Netgear issue."

Thanks for the information. Sad to see that the problem was never resolved in 2018.
Is this the correct User Manual?
Emailing scanned documents seems to be on page 5-25
Is the email system being used internal, or one of the common internet services (Gmail, Yahoo, AOL, etc.)?
Can you attach the email setup being used (X out any passwords or user names)
and the error message that appears?

Our IT guy is coming tomorrow. In the meantime, I'm attaching the error message as it may be the IP address for the scanner. Copier Co said it wasn't their deal.

Alas, one of the frustrating aspects of Netgear's forum software is that images placed "in-line" using the Photos icon are not visible to others until approved by a forum moderator. (and there are not many moderators for entire Netgear community). Images "attached" using the Browse button in the lower left are available immediately.

Agree, this is probably some email/SMTP configuration issue so we need to see the email settings configuration (without passwords). However I don't see anything obvious that would change with the router switch.
In the user manual the email settings are on pages 2-67 and 2-68. There is even a Connection Test button that the OP can try. I'm interested in the OP's printer settings for:
- SMTP Server Name
- Domain Restriction
- Sender Address
Also, what was the old router model? Maybe it had some forwarding setup for the printer's email sending function?
