What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too? Built in router here by chance?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between them to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or maynot be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
Try disabling the following and see:
Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).
Management page should be at 192.168.1.1 or orbilogin.com in a web browser.

I have the base in AP mode. Satellite is in wireless backhaul (want ethernet soon).
Firmware updated to latest during install. I cannot currently manage to see ver.
iOS or genie apps don't work either.
Am I doing something wrong?

Turns out the router kept the 10.0.0.1 address it setup on the mgmt interface even after I switched to AP mode.
I switched my laptop IP to 10.0.0.2 and was able to login with https://10.0.0.1 to reset the config.
I still cannot use the orbilogin link, but I can manage it

You can configure a static IP address if needed on the RBR while in AP mode.
orbilogin should work. Works for me.

Thanks. When I finally managed it I found it was not in AP mode (as I believed I'd done).
Logged in and switched that interface to DHCP. I'll reserve the address.
