New Orbi RBK50, but Upload Speeds are slower than before?
I just installed our new orbi rbk50 and while download speeds are fine... my upload speeds are half what they use to be on my airport extreme... what gives????? Do I really have to return this?
Ok so wired speeds are good.
What device are you using to test wireless?
Try all available wireless devices to check speeds.
Ensure Beamforming is also enabled.
I was good for a couple hours via wired and wifi. getting 17+ upload. Now I am getting sub 10s both wired and wifi. I've tested on Macbook pro (2018) and iPads and iPhones.
I turned on Implicit BEAMFORMING and now wifi is even slower... 92 and 7 up.
- I just got 292 and 2 upload. This upload is a joke. What’s the deal? How can my 6 year old Apple airport do better than this?
I would try to upgrade the FW, upgrade the satellite(s) first then the RBR router. You'll need two files for the RBR, v212 and v32:
Upgrade via lan cable. I would factory reset and setup from scratch after v32 is applied with the RBR.
