New Orbi RBR50/RBS50 Firmware Version 2.3.1.44

I see a bunch of post around the firmware release of Version 2.3.1.44 ... i had the RBR50 and one RBS50 update, but one RBS50 did not.  I cannot find where to go in order to download the new firmware...

There is no direct download for version .44 as of this time.   You have to manually update to .32 per other threads in here and then your Orbi will automatically update to .44.

 

Note: 

  • Update Satellites first.
  • Update Router to intermediate "speed bump" version to allow for larger firmware images (see threads on that explain in detail how)
  • Update router to V.32
  • After final reboot go to Web Gui and firmware page and it will show you .44 is available.

But not for every device in every location.

 

The RBR40 is stuck on older firmware here in the UK.
