New Orbis - MESH or Hub and Spoke?
I have the oroginal Orbi and could not be happier. I read that it is not a true MESH system as each satellite communicates directly with the router through the dedicated back channels. I see a new Orbi system out (the AC2200 set, I think). Claims up to 8000 sq feet coverage. A diagram suggests that it is a true MESH system as it shows a satellite communicating with another satellite. Anyone know if that is the case or are all Orbi systems still Hub and Spoke? Thanks.

The diagram is correct and the result of one of the latest firmware releases for the systems.
