New problem: “Connection is not private”

Did you enable parental controls? This looks like a traffic inspection of some kind, which I was not aware the Orbi could/would do.
Thanks for the suggestion, but no, I haven’t changed any of the settings.
Have you checked the AP's BSSID, when you encounter this issue - is this really your AP?

I’m using the Orbi in router mode and I wonder if that could be contributing in some way?Then examine the SSL certificate and see who did sign it. It your Orbi signed it, when it really would be performing some traffic inspection.
