Nighthawk Modem > ORBI RBR40 > RB40 Satelites

Nighthawk 2.5 cable modem to Orbi Router RBR 40 Speed > 900- BUT. but Orbi satellites are < 140 very low. How do I fix speed to the satellites? Please help.!!

    It would help to know:

    • The model of satellites that are connected to the RBR40?
    • How they are connected  (WiFi or ethernet)?
    • How speed is being measured on the satellites?
    • The model number of the modem (from the product label, usually on the bottom).

    FYI, you'll not see anything near 900Mpb on wifi or the RBS. 5Ghz AC maxes out at around 400-500Mpbs depending upon wifi device support and design. 

     

    What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
    What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
