No 2.4 GHz on RBR50 router
Hi guys,
First timer here. I have the ORBI mesh system RBR50. Firmware Version V2.7.0.70. When i would log into the app it would show both the 2.4 GHz and the 5GHz and what was on each one. I have noticed that now it only shows the 5GHz and nothing for the 2.4GHz. My doorbell used the 2.4GHz now it does not. I checked for updates and it states that it is up to date.
Anyone out there have this problem? Everything else on the system works beautiful and fast.
Thanks for anything you can offer.

Have configured the doorbell to use the Orbi system configured network name (SSID) and the security key (PSK)?
Orbi Mesh systems support - that's part of the Mesh technology - where one has only one network name (a single SSID) allowing to connect WiFi clients supporting both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands as well as to connect 2.4 GHz only WiFi clients - everything, including the physical LAN (Ethernet) ports are connecting to the very same network.

Your router does offer both the 2.4 and the 5 GHz WiFi bands on air. Well possible your old router had two different SSIDs for the 5 GHz and the 2.4 GHt band, and your doorbell is still configured to the old set-up. Well possible, all your other sytems can support 5 GHz and ae located within resonable distance from the Orni system.
Permitting the configuration is right, the doorbell can connect like every other WiFi client - leaving alone that some low cost IoT makers so called discovery and installations Apps insist a mobile device (like a phone) must connect to a 2.4 GHz network - where neither any mobile maker nor or any makers of notebooks et all have the ability to select the band the clients connect to. Complain to the makers of these IoT makers and their set-up App programmers.

Make sure you didn't disable the 2.4ghz band in the router settings.
I just installed my RBR40 with RBW30 satellite and I'm disappointed that neither the WUI or orbi app shows a seperate list of what's connected to the 2.4ghz & 5ghz bands. My orbi app also shows 2 different firmwares but I thought both devices did an auto firmware update when first installed last week?
I upgraded from a Netgear R6400 to this system. I had to use an extender to boost 2.4ghz signal for my doorbell when using the R6400. The Orbi router has stronger signal by itself and at least connects to the doorbell but adding satellite installed closer to the doorbell gives it the stronger signal for better performance.(no extender being used).
Only problem is I noticed logging into the doorbell WUI through Orbi now lags severely compared to the R6400 used with the EX6150 extender.
