No internet detected with fibre
Hey guys, have the orbi ac3000 version, I live in New Zealand and have trustpower fibre. If I connect my orbi to the modem (Huawei) it will not connect any internet on setup, if I connect it via my ol...
I recently got gigabit fiber and had the exact same issue. Here's how I fixed it.
1. Power off the fiber modem, the Orbi route, and satellite.
2. Turn on your fiber modem and let it sit for a good 5 minutes or longer.
3. Turn on the Orbi router only and immediately push in the tiny reset button on the back using a pin or needle for about 2 seconds.
4. Leave it alone for a few minutes. Then connect To it wirelessly and attempt to surf the net.
If it works, then power on your Orbi satellite.
If you're unsuccessful, try hitting the reset button on your fiber modem, and repeat the same steps again with the Orbi.
