No internet detected with fibre
Hey guys, have the orbi ac3000 version, I live in New Zealand and have trustpower fibre. If I connect my orbi to the modem (Huawei) it will not connect any internet on setup, if I connect it via my ol...
Thanks but I'm maxed out on power points as it is, would like to use the super expensive piece of gear as it is designed to be used. Will have to go for another round of hours of waiting with the tech support team I'm guessing.
The discriminating feature of Orbi is WIFI coverage, not router features, which are rather limited. If you use Orbi in AP mode you will receive the benefits you paid for.
It's possible your issues are with your ISP (such as requiring VLAN tagging) not Orbi and there's nothing Netgear tech support can do to help.
