older rbr50 or brand new rbr50 v2?

So I recently got a great deal on a new rbk50 2 pack, i only wanted the satellite because I already have the router. But the new one is a v2 which normally is a no brainer except I have read in this ...

No one has ever mentioned the V2 being "better" or "worse" than the V1.  Personally, I use the USB port to collect traffic information. (Rarely, but I would miss it.)
