I checked that right off the bat.  I am getting 40 Mb/s over 5 ghz.

What firmware is on the router and the satellites?

If you hardwire into the satellites and test their speed, what do you get?

    Firmware Version: v2.7.3.22

     

    I can't currently test the satellite wired speeds because I only have one wired device and at the moment I need it plugged in to the main Orbi router. Sorry.

      then power off the satellites and test what speed you get when only the router is connected. 

      You can also try factory resetting the router/satellites.

        Ok, I will try testing my Orbi with the satellites powered off this evening.  I did a full factory reset last night and it didn't help.
